How well can Fallout work in a live-action format? Fans of the post-apocalyptic RPG from Bethesda will be able to get the answer to exactly that next year, as Amazon has announced that its Fallout TV show will begin streaming exclusively on Prime Video beginning April 12, 2024. The date was revealed by the official @falloutonprime account today, which posted a new Pip-Boy video to celebrate the day of the Great War. Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, the duo behind Westworld, are executive producing, while Walton Goggins, who was hired last year to play a Ghoul, leads the show’s cast. A leaked trailer for the Fallout series, which Bethesda shared during gamescom 2023, can be found below.

“One of the movies that inspired Starfield was Interstellar, written by Jonathan Nolan,” Howard said during the presentation. “And I got to know Jonah, and I always wanted to make a Fallout TV show. So I talked to Jonah about it and we have been making the Fallout TV show. We don’t ever plan on putting this out. There will be bigger teasers later.”
