TEAMGROUP has announced that its T-FORCE VULCAN ECO DDR5 Desktop Memory will be available for purchase from Amazon and Newegg in North America in mid-December.

Developed as part of the company’s commitment to developing environmentally friendly products, the T-FORCE VULCAN ECO DDR5 Desktop Overclocking Memory is the industry’s first memory module to feature a recycled aluminum heat sink, according to TEAMGROUP.

Here’s how the memory helps toward saving the planet, according to the company:

TEAMGROUP takes social responsibility seriously, promoting sustainability through green research and development. For every 10,000 recycled aluminum T-FORCE VULCAN ECO DDR5 heat sinks made, carbon emissions are reduced by 73% or about 1,665 kg of carbon emissions. That is equivalent to the carbon footprint of 550,000 hand towels, 310,000 plastic straws, 30,000 plastic bags, and 10,000 PET bottles. The T-FORCE VULCAN ECO DDR5 also uses FSC-certified eco-packaging for the entire product, further contributing to the reduction of material and electronic waste.

TEAMGROUP goes on to confirm that its new memory supports the latest overclocking profiles, and there’s on-die ECC, too, which should guard against data corruption:

The T-FORCE VULCAN ECO DDR5 Desktop Memory supports both the latest Intel XMP 3.0 and AMD EXPO overclocking profile features, providing a quick overclocking experience with dual-platform stability. Users can unlock the potential of DDR5 and enjoy maximum gaming and multitasking performance instantly. The VULCAN ECO DDR5 Desktop Memory is not only environmentally sustainable but also built with innovative technologies.

It supports on-die ECC, which detects errors and recovers data during data transmission, providing stable and reliable usage. In addition, TEAMGROUP utilized its patented IC classification verification technology to ensure the usability and durability of the VULCAN ECO. This technology has been awarded patents in both Taiwan and the U.S, further guaranteeing the product’s high quality.

And here’s a breakdown of its key features:

  • The first Eco-friendly DDR5 memory for overclocking in the industry
  • Start overclocking on two platforms in one click
  • Strengthened PMIC Cooling Design
  • On-die ECC for System Stability
  • Power Management ICs (PMICs) Equipped for Stable, Efficient Power Usage
  • Patented IC grading method ensures compatibility and durability (Invention patent number in Taiwan: I751093; Invention patent number in the US: US11488679B1)

Three options appear to available, including a 32 GB (2x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL30 kit.
