How much does Jensen like the GeForce RTX 4070? A lot, it seems, as Board Channel posters are now spreading the claim that the GeForce RTX 4070 won’t be replaced despite the pending release of the GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER, a faster version of NVIDIA’s mid-range Ada Lovelace graphics card for gamers that will presumably cost more than $599.

Here’s the latest word, per translations that have been shared online, although things don’t seem to be looking good for some of the other models that are available today:

  • RTX 4080 SUPER: Will replace the RTX 4080 series, indicating the discontinuation of the RTX 4080 series.
  • RTX 4070 Ti SUPER: Will replace the RTX 4070 Ti series, signifying the discontinuation of the RTX 4070 Ti series.
  • RTX 4070 SUPER: Will not entirely replace the RTX 4070 series; instead, it will coexist with the RTX 4070 series for an extended period. However, the focus will primarily be on the sales of the RTX 4070 SUPER series.

And here’s what some people seem to think NVIDIA’s new GeForce RTX 40 SUPER Series GPUs might cost based on the pricing of the current models (hint: they will be even more expensive):

  • GeForce RTX 4070 (MSRP $599)
  • GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER: $699
  • GeForce RTX 4070 Ti (MSRP $799)
  • GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER: $999
  • GeForce RTX 4080 (MSRP $1,199)
  • GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER: $1,399

NVIDIA is expected to announce its new GeForce RTX 40 SUPER Series GPUs during an event at next year’s CES show in Vegas.
