IT Home and EXP Review have shared new rumors regarding NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 40 SUPER Series, revealing what could not only be their pricing, but also how their performance might compare with the standard versions that are available on today’s market.

Here’s a breakdown of what IT Home has heard, including prices that range from $599 to $999, as well as up to 22% faster performance for a certain model—namely, the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER:

  • RTX 4080 Super 16GB: $999, 6%-9% faster than RTX 4080
    • This graphics card is based on the AD103-400 GPU, has 10240 CUDA cores, a 256bit bus width, can provide an effective bandwidth of 768GB/s (24Gbps G6X), and a TDP of 320W.
  • RTX 4070 Ti Super 16GB: $799~849, 14-22% faster than RTX 4070 Ti
    • This graphics card is based on the AD103-275 / AD102-175 GPU, similar to the 4080 Super, with 8448 CUDA cores, 256bit video memory, and a speed of about 21–22.4Gbps, so the effective bandwidth is only slightly lower than the 4080 Super.
  • RTX 4070 Super 12GB: $599~$649, performance close to RTX 4070 Ti
    • This graphics card is based on the AD104-350 / AD103-175 GPU. It has 7168 cores, which is nearly 21% more than the RTX 4070. It uses 192bit GDDR6X memory with a speed of 21Gbps and a bandwidth of 504 GB/s.

For comparison, here’s how much the standard versions of those GPUs from NVIDIA cost:

  • GeForce RTX 4080 ($1,199)
  • GeForce RTX 4070 Ti ($700)
  • GeForce RTX 4070 ($599)

…so basically, it looks like the GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER could actually be cheaper than its original counterpart.

EXP Review echoed most of this information in its own coverage, but according to that report, the GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER may end up being priced at $1,099…which, although higher, would still make it cheaper than what the normal GeForce RTX 4080 launched for.

The GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER will supposedly be on shelves on January 17 following a January 8 announcement (something that appears to have been confirmed), while the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER and GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER will supposedly arrive on shelves later, on January 24 and January 31, respectively.

NVIDIA launched the GeForce RTX 40 Series in October 2022, revealing a new, $1,599 flagship in the form of the GeForce RTX 4090.
