World’s Lightest 14″ Gaming Laptop Features Up to Intel Core Ultra 9 CPU, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPU, and 2.8K OLED Display

Promotional materials for the Omen Transcend 14 have leaked online, revealing a new notebook from HP that the company plans to advertise as being the “world’s lightest 14-inch gaming laptop” ever made.

According to Windows Report, which revealed the news as part of an exclusive report today, HP’s Omen Transcend 14 gaming laptop will feature not only a very portable design, but it’ll also be powered by some of the latest hardware from Intel and NVIDIA:

HP’s Omen family is a real treat for all gamers who appreciate incredible performance packed in a sleek design that’s not always screaming “gaming”. The Transcend series perfectly embodies that, bringing RTX graphics and the latest CPUs from Intel in a portable, 16-inch gaming laptop.

…with the laptop’s Intel Core Ultra CPU, the Nvidia RTX graphics, and the clever airflow design…you get an incredible powerhouse to use on the go.

And here’s the leaked specs for the laptop, which seemingly confirms a 2.8K OLED display, support for Wi-Fi 7, up to 32 GB of LPDDR5x memory, and more:

“HP’s gaming laptop will come in two colors: Shadow Black and Ceramic White. While there isn’t an official launch date or price yet, we suspect the HP Omen Transcend 14 will be officially unveiled at CES 2024,” the publication writes.

HP’s current gaming laptops include the Omen Transcend 16, a notebook that features up to an Intel Core i9-13900HX processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 laptop GPU.

“With deeper blacks, luscious colors, and ultra contrast, gaming on this 2.8K 120Hz 16:10 OLED screen makes real life look like it’s running on low setting,” HP wrote of the Omen Transcend 16’s display.
