ASUS has announced G-SYNC Pulsar, a new version of the display technology from NVIDIA that is said to provide “stutter-free smoothness together with 4x effective motion clarity.”

Highlights:

  • G-SYNC Pulsar is designed to minimize motion blur without the problems (e.g., flickering) seen in existing backlight strobing solutions
  • Adaptive Overdrive dynamically adjusts the pixel transition times to minimize motion blur and ghosting
  • Pulse Modulation controls the brightness and duration of each pulse for flicker-free viewing
  • G-SYNC Pulsar is still in development but is set to appear in an upcoming ROG Swift 360 Hz gaming display

With these adaptive strategies working together, you can enjoy all the benefits of backlight strobing alongside the advantages of G-SYNC that you’ve come to know and love. Game without stutter, tearing, blur, or flicker – and it’s all thanks to G-SYNC Pulsar.

ASUS is also announcing its lineup of GeForce RTX 40 SUPER Series and Radeon RX 7600 XT graphics cards today, including ROG Strix, TUF Gaming, ProArt, and Dual models.

NVIDIA Models:

Each of these new GPUs offer a boost in performance over their predecessor, with the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER also increasing the VRAM to 16GB for high-resolution texture performance. In addition, the GeForce RTX 4070 now uses a 16-pin 12VHPWR power connector on the PCB, perfect for matching with the latest PSUs. And of course, all of these cards were built with our Auto-Extreme Technology, which automates the manufacturing process so that all soldering can be completed in a single pass, reducing thermal strain and environmental impact for a product that will stand the test of time.
