HITMAN World of Assassination is bringing back fan favorite and two-time BAFTA winner Sean Bean for its upcoming Season of the Undying. IO Interactive debuted HITMAN World of Assassination last year where it rebranded Hitman 3 while bundling the first two games in a $70 package. Now The Undying Elusive Target, aka Mark Faba, is making a comeback as part of a series of DLC which includes a first-time-ever free-to-play starter pack that launches on March 22. The return of The Undying Elusive just goes to show that despite having been reported killed over 25 times, some characters just won’t stay dead.

“For the first time ever, Free Starter Pack players will have a chance to experience the Undying mission in The Oroborous – A Three level Arcade contract featuring The Undying Elusive Target, available for free to everyone. In this game mode, players will be tasked with multiple escalating missions, upon failure, progress will restart from the first level and the contract will be locked for 12 hours until the player can attempt to play the contract again. The original ‘one chance only’ Elusive Target will only be available to World of Assassination players.”
Season of The Undying
The Berlin Egg Hunt is making a comeback on March 29 and will be available to those using the free starter pack. A Twitch drop is set to happen as well where players will have the chance to get The Purple Streak Duck. The free starter pack is only the beginning as IO Interactive is also launching The Undying DLC pack on March 30 for $4.99 which includes the Ouroboros contract, the Ephemeral Suit, three additional items, and a set of cosmetic items.

Players will be able to participate in the Berlin Egg Hunt, with the chance to unlock the Raver suit. New Challenges will test their skills with deadly items to obtain as rewards whilst five returning Elusive Targets as well as three rounds of Curated Contracts should keep the players on their toes. Finally, a Twitch drop, The Purple Streak Duck, will be unlocked for players watching one hour of HITMAN World of Assassination on Twitch between the 22nd and 30th of March.”
