The GIGABYTE AORUS FO32U2P supports the full 80 Gbps bandwidth available with Displayport 2.1 for its 4K/240 Hz panel. Gaming monitors with DP 2.1 are finally making their way to market but not all support the UHBR20 specification which means they do not support the maximum bandwidth available to the new DisplayPort version. A Samsung QD-OLED panel is used which supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro to offer a tear-free gaming experience. GIGABYTE has included an array of ports for connecting to either PC or consoles and other devices that span from 1x DP 2.1 UHBR20, mini 1x DP 2.1 UHBR20, 2x HDMI 2.1, and USB Type-C supporting up to 65W power delivery.

The AORUS FO32U2P 10bit panel also supports up to 99% DCI-P3, is factory calibrated, and is VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certified. It has a response time of 0.03ms GTG with a contrast ratio of 1,500,000:1. From competitive to casual gaming this 31.5″ display offers a lot of features many gamers could be after. GIGABYTE has not yet announced pricing and availability for the AORUS FO32U2P.

As a child of the 70’s I was part of the many who became enthralled by the video arcade invasion of the 1980’s. Saving money from various odd jobs I purchased my first computer from a friend of my dad, a used Atari 400, around 1982. Eventually it would end up being a lifelong passion of upgrading and modifying equipment that, of course, led into a career in IT support.
