A Hogwarts Legacy developer has posted a message on social media regarding the forthcoming first-anniversary update. It’s no secret that new content and features are coming to the PC, and other platforms via the upcoming summer update. It has already been revealed that some kind of PlayStation-exclusive content is making its way over and is very much believed to be the Haunted Hogsmeade quest, but nothing official regarding that content has yet been announced.

As such some ongoing speculation and rumors are spreading about what the new update will bring and so Hogwarts Legacy developer Avalanche community manager Chandler Wood has released an official statement to temper expectations but also give thanks to the community.

Chandler Wood (via official social media page):

“Hi everyone! We are thrilled that you are all excited for the free update to Hogwarts Legacy this summer. We love seeing all the guesses and hopes for what will be part of this update, and while we are not ready to talk about it yet, I do want to set some expectations for what we are working on. Our original wording of “additional updates and features for the game” was very intentional. This update is a small way of us showing appreciation to our players for the amazing reception to the game.”

It’s obvious that Avalanche Studios doesn’t want to spoil any surprises about whatever is planned. The only thing known for sure is that it will arrive this summer. Meanwhile, Insight Editions has just released its limited edition “The Art and Making of Hogwarts Legacy” book which is available on its website for $125.

As a child of the 70’s I was part of the many who became enthralled by the video arcade invasion of the 1980’s. Saving money from various odd jobs I purchased my first computer from a friend of my dad, a used Atari 400, around 1982. Eventually it would end up being a lifelong passion of upgrading and modifying equipment that, of course, led into a career in IT support.
