Mass Effect 5, the next mainline installment of BioWare’s sci-fi RPG franchise, is being led by the very same developers who were responsible for the original and beloved Mass Effect Trilogy, comprising Mass Effect (2007), Mass Effect 2 (2010), and Mass Effect 3 (2012), according to a freelance illustrator. The news has been confirmed by Michael Gamble, Project Director and Executive Producer at BioWare.
The word from Kala Elizabeth:
The Mass Effect 5 leadership team is mostly original trilogy veteran devs, several who have been there since the very beginning. I sincerely think the game is in very good hands & the narrative that everyone left is disrespectful to those still there, games aren't made by 1 dev!

all trilogy vets.
The news comes a few months after N7 Day, when BioWare shared a small Mass Effect update:
Your joy, creativity, and passion help drive us towards the future of Mass Effect and all that it may become. The team is taking their time to craft a whole new adventure for you to enjoy, with new stories, characters, and experiences to fill it.
