Sony BRAVIA Theater Quad Generates Phantom Speakers Using 360 Spatial Sound Mapping Technology

Sony Electronics has introduced its brand-new range of BRAVIA Theater home audio products, and with it comes an announcement for the BRAVIA Theater Quad, a new flagship, 16-speaker home theater surround system that is said to feature a revolutionary design, capable of generating multiple phantom speakers in locations even when no physical speakers are present thanks to Sony’s proprietary 360 Spatial Sound Mapping technology. The new BRAVIA lineup also includes new soundbars, including a neckband speaker for immersive cinematic sound.
