New Endings and Music for Baldur’s Gate 3 Announced as Larian Confirms Development on Two New Projects: “Our Best Work Ever”

Baldur’s Gate 3, the celebrated RPG set in the universe of Dungeons & Dragons from the developers at Larian Studios, will be gaining some new and improved evil endings to provide even darker conclusions to players’ most sinister playthroughs, according to a post on Steam that Larian shared today about what’s coming in Patch 7 for the game, including bug fixes, official modding tools, and more. News of the update comes as Larian confirms it’s working on two new projects based on its own, original IPs, which CEO Swen Vincke are already calling its “best work ever.”

Vincke said:

  • “I don’t know if we’re going to pull it off, but looking at our narrative, visual and gameplay plans, I think what we’re working on now will be our best work ever.”
  • “I get excited like a kid watching the key imagery, want to show it to everyone now and grumble in frustration at having to wait until it’s actually all working.”
  • “Yes, it’s hype but it’s hype because it really looks and feels good.”
