The GeForce RTX 5090, NVIDIA’s next flagship gaming GPU, will boast not only 28 GB of GDDR7 memory, but also a 448-bit memory bus on its specification sheet, according to new rumors that have been shared on China’s Chiphell forums. NVIDIA’s current flagship, the GeForce RTX 4090, features 24 GB of GDDR6X memory and a 384-bit memory bus in comparison.
GeForce RTX 5090 rumors now include:
- 14x 8-gigabit (2 GB) GDDR7 modules
- 28 GB of total memory capacity
- 28 Gbps memory speed
- 1,568 GB/s maximum memory bandwidth

I believe it's possible, and kind of makes more sense, but just laughing because the mem specs seem to change almost every other week at this point.
This is the way it always is. I'm just surprised WCCF hasn't jumped all over it.
29gb? But why? 8K I guess?
I would have been all about 48gb actually. But that would cross over too heavily into their AI accelerators.
