ASRock Launches AMD Radeon RX 7900 Creator Series Graphics Cards with Blower Fan

ASRock has launched the Radeon RX 7900 XTX Creator 24GB and ASRock Radeon RX 7900 XT Creator 20GB, two new Radeon RX 7000 Series graphics cards based on the RDNA 3 architecture that feature a vapor-chamber heatsink, two-slot thickness, and what the company says is an efficient blower fan, swiftly dissipating heat toward the rear of the GPU. The 24GB model boosts up to 2,500 MHz, while the 20GB version boosts up to 2,395 MHz.

There is nothing inherently wrong with a 'blower' fan. Its all about the total solution. I guess since blower fans have been paired typically with cheap solutions, well, they got a bad reputation.

There's nothing wrong with blower fans, from a performance perspective. They exhaust the heat out of the case, which is ideal. The tradeoff is noise.

ASRock aren't the latest with blower-equipped GPUs; you'll see the same on 'workstation GPUs' like Quadros, which this 'Creator' series is most likely targeted at.
