Red Dead Redemption, the 2010 action-adventure game from Rockstar San Diego that was the first in the Western-themed series to introduce players to an open world, following 2004’s Red Dead Revolver, will be available for PC players to purchase on October 29 for $49.99, according to an updated listing for the game that can now be found on Steam. The pricing comes just a few days after graphics comparisons for the new port began making their way around social media, including one that suggests the PC version will have much better draw distance than the older console iterations. A look at how the PC version of Red Dead Redemption should compare with one of the console versions can be found below.
Featuring the complete single-player experiences of both games, including bonus content from the Game of the Year Edition. Red Dead Redemption does not feature multiplayer content. Experience the story of former outlaw John Marston as he tracks down the last remaining members of the notorious Van der Linde Gang in the PC debut of the critically acclaimed predecessor to Red Dead Redemption 2.

They can charge whatever they want, but I'm not buying a 14 year old game until it's far lower in cost.
