Gaming Performance

All data was captured fresh and new, as of October, 2025 on the ASUS PRIME GeForce RTX 5070 Ti with driver version 581.57, and the latest game patches. We are using the highest stable overclock on the ASUS PRIME GeForce RTX 5070 Ti: 3201MHz / 32Gbps.

Alan Wake 2

Alan Wake 2 was launched in October of 2023 and runs on the Northlight Engine. The game features high-quality assets, volumetric fog, animated foliage, advanced volumetric lighting, high-detail character models, and dense foliage. It also features full Ray Tracing and Path Tracing options that can be enabled with ray-traced reflections and shadows, along with DLSS Ray Reconstruction. It also supports RTX Mega Geometry, DLSS, and FSR Upscaling and Frame Generation. For our testing, we are going to use the in-game graphics preset options for the main quality option, as well as the Ray Tracing preset as needed. Our testing scenario is a manual run-through in the INITIATION 5 – ROOM 665 map.

Alan Wake 2 1440p Performance Graph Overclocked GeForce RTX 5070 Ti

In Alan Wake 2, we are running at 1440p, with the High Preset. The GeForce RTX 5070 Ti allows a playable 96FPS average, and with DLSS, 138FPS average. Overclocking provides a 10% uplift to performance, bringing the average over 100FPS to 106FPS average, and the DLSS performance uplift is also 10%.

Alan Wake 2 Ray Tracing 1440p Performance Graph Overclocked GeForce RTX 5070 Ti

Enabling the Ultra Preset Ray Tracing mode is playable on the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti with DLSS Quality Upscaling enabled at 75FPS average. Overclocking improves performance by 9% and brings that up to 82FPS average.

Battlefield 6

Battlefield 6 was launched on October 10th, 2025, and is based on the Frostbite game engine. Battlefield 6 features high-quality textures and lighting, subsurface scattering, ambient occlusion, volumetric fog, and a destruction technology. This game does not support ray tracing features. It also features DLSS, FSR3, and Intel XeSS Upscaling, as well as Frame Generation and Reflex. Our manual run-through takes place at the beginning of the single campaign playable mode, which involves intense graphics, destruction, and explosions with a lot of action, stressing the graphics.

Battlefield 6 1440p Performance Graph Overclocked GeForce RTX 5070 Ti

Battlefield 6 plays very well on the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti at 1440p, providing above 100FPS average at 106FPS. DLSS further improves that to 137FPS average. Overclocking the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti provides an 8% uplift to performance at 115FPS, and DLSS receives an 8% performance uplift.

Black Myth: Wukong

Black Myth: Wukong was released in August of 2024 and is based on the Unreal Engine 5. Black Myth: Wukong features realistic lighting, shadows, a detailed environment detailed by motion capture, and utilizes the Lumen Global Illumination lighting system. The game also features Ray Tracing, global illumination, and shadows. We are utilizing the game’s built-in graphics preset options for main graphics and Ray Tracing. We are also using the DLSS and Upscaling option at 66% quality mode for all GPUs. We utilize the built-in benchmark for testing. We are reporting the Low 5th result from the benchmark result.

Black Myth: Wukong 1440p Performance Graph Overclocked GeForce RTX 5070 Ti

In Black Myth: Wukong, we found the highest quality mode, “Cinematic,” to be too much of a burden on the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti at 1440p; the game was not playable. We did need to lower the image quality down to the next lowest setting, “Very High” at 1440p, to make it playable at nearly 60FPS average. This is a game where overclocking can help more, since it needs it. Overclocking improves the performance of the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti by 8%. This is a game where you will want DLSS enabled, and with that, you’ll get 88FPS at 1440p, and 96FPS with overclocking, a 9% improvement in performance.

Enabling Very High Ray Tracing is graphically intense in Black Myth: Wukong. With DLSS Quality Upscaling enabled, the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti is around 64FPS average. Overclocking improves performance by 9%, and is at 70FPS and making the game feel smoother with Ray Tracing.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 was released in April of 2025 and runs on the Unreal Engine 5. This is one of those games where ‘Ray Tracing’ is enabled at all times, native to the game. The game features Lumen for global illumination and reflections, and Nanite for high-detailed geometry. It also features DLSS Upscaling and Intel XeSS, but not FSR. Instead, for ‘FSR’ we will utilize the game’s built-in TSR setting at Medium, which is the closest render resolution to DLSS Quality mode. We will also use the game’s built-in graphics presets for quality settings. We are testing an area near the beginning of the game, in the Prologue, near the end of where the first chapter begins, which offers an opportunity to test a large open area with NPCs and a long stretch of the map freely. We are performing a manual run-through in this area.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 1440p Performance Graph Overclocked GeForce RTX 5070 Ti

In Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti manages to barely hit 60FPS at 1440p at Epic game settings. Enabling DLSS greatly helps performance and makes the game feel smooth at 85FPS. Overclocking the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti improves performance by 10%, bringing it above 60FPS. DLSS gets a 9% uplift in performance.

Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk 2077 1440p Performance Graph Overclocked GeForce RTX 5070 Ti

In Cyberpunk 2077, the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti easily manages to provide a playable gaming experience at 1440p and Ultra settings at 132FPS, at native resolution. Overclocking adds only 4% to performance here, so we aren’t seeing a big advantage at this easy-to-render game setting in Cyberpunk 2077.

Cyberpunk 2077 Ray Tracing 1440p Performance Graph Overclocked GeForce RTX 5070 Ti

When we enable Ultra Preset Ray Tracing in Cyberpunk 2077, we now see that overclocking adds 10% more performance. This higher rendering setting stresses the GPU more, and now there is an advantage to overclocking. Though this game is playable without it at Ultra Ray Tracing at 1440p with DLSS Quality Upscaling enabled at 97FPS, overclocking brings you over 100FPS average.

Doom The Dark Ages

Doom: The Dark Ages 1440p Performance Graph Overclocked GeForce RTX 5070 Ti

In Doom: The Dark Ages we are able to run the game at 1440p and “Ultra Nightmare” graphics settings with great performance of 96FPS on the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti. With DLSS Quality Upscaling, performance is at 138FPS. Overclocking provides an 11% performance uplift on the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti, which is the highest advantage we’ve seen so far, taking this game to over 100FPS at 1440p with Ultra Nightmare settings. With DLSS, overclocking adds 8% to performance.

Doom: The Dark Ages Path Tracing 1440p Performance Graph Overclocked GeForce RTX 5070 Ti

With Doom: The Dark Ages, we can turn on Path Tracing, and with that enabled, the game is actually still playable at 60FPS at 1440p with DLSS Quality Upscaling. When we overclock the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti, performance increases by 10% and brings it up to 70FPS, which does smooth out performance with Path Tracing on.
