Kingdom Come: Deliverance II
Kingdom Come: Deliverance II was released to PC in February of 2025 and is based on the CryEngine. Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is another game where ‘ray tracing’ is enabled at all times by default. Kingdom Come: Deliverance II features an advanced global illumination system for realistic lighting, detailed textures, and geometry, and upscaling technologies including DLSS and FSR. It is based on CryEngine’s sparse vocal octree global illumination for dynamic lighting and shadows. We are utilizing an in-game manual run-through in the open world between cities, through a settlement, and a heavily forested area with direct bright sunlight.

In Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, we are running at 1080p with the “Ultra” quality preset, which is the highest graphics settings possible. This is another game that uses always on Ray Tracing. The XFX Swift Radeon RX 9060 XT OC Gaming Edition 8GB still allows a playable experience at 1080p native resolution with 70FPS average. Enabling FSR Upscaling boosts that slightly to 81FPS average. The XFX Swift Radeon RX 9060 XT OC Gaming Edition 8GB is 16% slower than the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 8GB, again due to the Ray Tracing nature of the game. Overclocking the XFX Swift Radeon RX 9060 XT OC Gaming Edition 8GB improves performance by 4%.
