Newegg is currently pulling out all the stops in offering AMD’s latest flagship processor in combo deals featuring major discounts. Without even getting into the ongoing shortage and price hikes for DRAM and NAND products, it goes without saying that these components can drive up the price of a new build; throw in a $900 CPU, and you’re going to need deep pockets to complete that build. Thankfully, Newegg is looking for ways to ease those budgetary constraints with its latest combo deals.
First up is a deal that, while it still has a sticker shock at $2,899.99, is bundled to give a discount of nearly $1,200. It includes the aforementioned AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D2, an ASUS ROG Crosshair X870E Glacial motherboard featuring 24(110A)+2(110A)+2 power stages, G.Skill Ripjaws S5 64 GB DDR5-6000 memory, and a Samsung 990 PRO 4 TB Gen4 NVMe drive.
Next up, for $500 less at $2,299.99 is a nearly identical combo, but this one with an MSI MPG X870E motherboard with 18+2+1 power delivery, instead. Otherwise, once again including AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D2, G.Skill Ripjaws S5 64 GB DDR5-6000 memory, and a Samsung 990 PRO 4 TB Gen4 NVMe drive. This deal still saves over $1,000 vs buying these components separately.
Now the online retailer is actually offering around a dozen or so combo deals, including the AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D processor featuring dual 3D V-Cache, but we’re focusing on some that offer a more complete package with greater discounts. That being said, here are a couple more under $2,000.
Here we have a deal which includes an ASUS ROG STRIX X870E-H Gaming WiFi 7 motherboard featuring 16+2+1 power stages paired with XPG Lancer RGB 32 GB DDR5 6000, and a Samsung 9100 Pro 2 TB Gen 5 NVME drive (no heatsink). This package is going for $1,889.99, offering a discount of nearly $430.
Lastly, we have the lowest-priced of these combos featuring all four components (processor, motherboard, memory, and storage). At $1836.99, discounted savings of over $440, it features the AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D2, an ASUS TUF Gaming X870E-Plus Wifi 7, also featuring 16+2+1 power delivery, Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR5 6400, and a Western Digital Black SN7100 2TB Gen4 NVME drive for storage.
