New game reveals and announcements are beginning to roll out ahead of next month’s Gamescom 2026 event, and more are sure to follow. Some of the first include CD PROJEKT RED’s long-awaited DLC for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Songs of the Past, and then Capcom’s latest additions to its Silent Hill and Castlevania franchises. Hosted by Geoff Keighley, the gaming event has become a prominent place for game trailers to make their debut, and these titles are surely just a few that could appear on opening night.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — Songs of the Past

CDPR will showcase The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — Songs of the Past on the gamescom show floor, where press and players will get to experience a guided experience of the game. The DLC sees a return of Geralt of Rivia in a new story expansion set to launch for consoles and PC in 2027.
Silent Hill: Townfall
Konami has announced it will be debuting a trailer during opening night as well. The trailer will dive “deeper into this psychological horror,” and the publisher will also provide an interactive experience designed to give attendees a more immersive moment with the upcoming game.
Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse
Konami has announced another upcoming franchise addition in the form of Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse. The next game is said to provide a new take on the franchise formula with a story based on Rose Belmont. Rose is a member of the Dracula-slaying clan.
This is likely just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to new game announcements; some other titles that may make an appearance could be a new Ghost Recon game, the Dino Crisis Remake, The Blood of Dawnwalker, and more.
