Dead Island 2 Coming to Steam in April, Grab Dead Island: Riptide Definitive Edition for Free Today

Deep Silver has announced that Dead Island 2 is coming to Steam on April 22, and to celebrate, the publisher has made Dead Island: Riptide Definitive Edition free to claim on Steam until February 15 at 5 p.m. CET. The PC version of Dead Island 2 launched as an Epic Games Store exclusive on April 21, 2023.

I've tried getting into these games, snagged them all on Steam in previous offers, and never got far. I appreciate the graphics, story, voiceovers, gameplay mechanics, and such, but get bored with zombie stuff after a bit. For those who like this genre, I do recommend however as they are well made and have some awesome jump-scare moments.

Never finished Dead Island.... it's a never ending fetch quest game and killing the zombies (while interesting at first) becomes so massively repetitive. Haven't tried #2.
