The GeForce RTX 4090 24G SURPIM FUZION, a new custom graphics card with NVIDIA’s top Ada gaming GPU that features not only a traditional dual-fan cooling system, but also a water-cooling system with pump and radiator hidden within, is currently being prepped for release by MSI, according to new images for the GPU that have surfaced online following its appearance at this year’s edition of the Best Choice Awards, COMPUTEX’s celebration for honoring some of today’s most unique hardware. MSI is expected to share the full specifications for the GPU during COMPUTEX, which officially begins next week on Tuesday, June 4.

From a report (machine translated):

  • “The MSI GeForce RTX 4090 24G Suprim Fuzion looks like a model with a thick air cooler, but hides a compact water cooling system including a pump and radiator.”
  • “The radiator of the cooling circuit is simply squeezed into the format of an air-cooled card. This gives the silver-black Nvidia graphics card over four slots (presumably 4.5-slot design).”
  • “The Ada Lovelace GPU is apparently cooled by a compact cooling block including a pump, which in turn is connected to the heat exchanger by short hoses.”
  • “The heated air is then removed by two fans (probably 90-100 mm in diameter). Also clearly visible are copper heatsinks around the cooling block , which most likely cool the memory chips – and possibly also the power supply.”

Best Choice Awards offers the following description for the graphics card:

It features a custom PCB, hybrid liquid cooling system and air-cooled cover with fan that delivers a 15% performance increase compared to traditional air cooling technology. With 90% shorter tubes compared to traditional liquid cooling designs, it gains 10% in performance, while its all-in-one sealed chassis eliminates the need for refilling or changing coolant and ongoing maintenance.
