The Ryzen 9000 Series, a new lineup of desktop processors with Zen 5 cores from AMD that saw some of its first reviews being published today, including those for the Ryzen 7 9700X and Ryzen 5 9600X, will be available at prices ranging from $279 to $649, AMD has announced. AMD shared the SEPs for its latest CPUs on X yesterday, confirming that the 9700X and 9600X would be out first on Thursday, August 8, while the flagships will arrive a bit later, on Thursday, August 15.

Join Discussion →Ok noted... so motherboard and processor about 900 give or take, some ram another 150 or so... alright this is doable. ;)
Going to wait for the X3D variants since it seems like the X models are not much of an upgrade, or not one at all, over the 7000 series.

The power draw is not a concern for me. I custom loop water cool anyways.
