Epic Games Store has an interesting pair of free games this week with Football Manager 2024 and Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts. PC Mag gave Football Manager 2024 an outstanding rating with 4.5 out of 5 stars and the sim still currently retails for $59.99 so fans of the sport should really take a look at the opportunity to get it for free while they can. According to the review, the only major drawback is that the developers were unable to get licenses for all the clubs and the game does have a steep learning curve.
Next up is Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts, a first-person stealth shooter that was released in 2019 and IGN rated at 7.3 out of 10. While there are many games that may feature stealth tactical combat and sniper attacks, there are few that focus on just being a sniper. This first installment got knocks for a slow and tedious start it received props for its streamlined sniper sim design, bullet physics, gadgets, open-ended mini-sandbox levels, and more.
