Season of Lawless, a third season for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League that introduces several additions to the 2024 action-adventure shooter, including a new playable character in the form of Zoe Lawton (a.k.a., Lawless, daughter of Deadshot), has only managed to draw as many as 282 players on Steam since its launch on October 1, according to the latest metrics for the game that can be found on SteamDB. The live-service game, which is developed by Rocksteady Studios, achieved its all-time peak on Valve’s platform eight months ago, having drawn 13,459 players at launch. A trailer that introduces Season 3’s new character can be found below.

One of Gotham’s newest and most ethical thieves, Lawless is determined to use the skills of a master criminal that her father taught her to redistribute the wealth in her hometown. She’s sending a message to the people of Gotham that they don’t have to live in fear of the city’s out-of-touch elites any longer, and her method for spreading this message is to livestream her heists for her adoring fans to see.

That's what happens when your new playable character and focus of your new content is another unlikeable girl boss character that's better than her male counterpart / predecessor in every way. She's also not a character that anyone's really heard of. I hadn't heard of her until I saw the trailer for it.

I can only assume this game is still going or getting any content due to some legal obligations to do so.

It was probably all done Day 0 (the infamous Day 0 DLC, just now we call it a "Season") and they will continue as long as they have the pre-baked content. But once that dries out, it'll be done.

Also never heard of Lawless, but I was never a huge DC comic follower either.
