“NVIDIA App Beta – Migration Of NVIDIA Control Panel Legacy 3D Settings,” a new survey that has been designed to help NVIDIA determine what legacy control panel features (i.e., those that can be found under the “Manage 3D Settings” menu) it should introduce into its modern app, is now available for GeForce users and other enthusiasts to participate in, NVIDIA community manager “NV_Tim” has announced. Some of the options that NVIDIA is seeking feedback on include Ambient Occlusion, Anisotropic Filtering & Texture Filtering options, and Multi-Frame Sampled AA—a feature that was launched during the Maxwell generation in 2014. A look at the NVIDIA Control Panel “Manage 3D Settings” options that are currently available in the NVIDIA app beta can be found below.
Some options in NVIDIA Control Panel’s “Manage 3D Settings” section are considered legacy features, either being infrequently used or offering minimal benefit to modern games. To keep the NVIDIA app as streamlined and lightweight as possible, we’d like to know which legacy features are important to you, and how you use them.
Please let us know by participating in the survey…which will help inform future NVIDIA app development. If you don’t see a feature listed that you use, please state its name in the optional answer box.
