Microsoft’s Xbox Partner Preview | October 2024 event has wrapped, and with it comes several new trailers for 15 games that are coming to Xbox consoles, Windows PC, and/or Game Pass from what Microsoft has described as its incredible partners, including Remedy Entertainment and Sega. Two of the highlights come courtesy of Remedy: The Lakehouse, a new expansion for Alan Wake 2 that has deep ties to Control, is launching on October 22, while FBC: Firebreak, a PvE spin-off of the 2019 action-adventure game that will allow players to take control of an FBC agent, is coming in 2025 as a day-one Game Pass title. All of the announcements from today’s Xbox event can be found below.

On today’s broadcast, Remedy kicked off our show and gave us a grand finale – beginning with a first look at gameplay for Alan Wake 2’s second expansion, The Lake House, and ending with a first-ever reveal for gameplay from FBC: Firebreak, the multiplayer spin-off from Control. We also included a world premiere of the Subnautica 2 teaser trailer, which confirmed that Early Access will be coming in 2025, featuring optional co-op. And on top of that, we also had two games that are available today in the form of world-conquering indie Animal Well, and the fascinating, pitch-black FPS Blindfire.
