The Cryorig Monster XX could be the perfect air-cooled solution for those seeking to tame a power-hungry processor. With its dual tower design and ten pure copper 6mm heat pipes, it is rated for CPUs with up to 300 TDP. This exclusive design is said to outperform other air coolers covering the same CPU area by up to 10% to 15%. Cryorig has engineered the Monster XX to be a hassle-free experience when installing by incorporating a new hidden socket design along with a new clasp design for an improved secured fitting. The overall cooling rating for this air cooler puts it well within reach of a 240mm AIO.
Per Product Page:
- “The new hidden socket design enhances aesthetics while simplifying the installation process, experience a hassle-free installation without the need for disassembly, and enjoy a completely new experience.”
- “Featuring a new clasp design with additional locking points for improved stability, the updated design ensures secure installation, reduces looseness, and provides greater peace of mind during use.”
The Cryorig Monster XX has two 120x25mm PWM fans featuring ARGB that can run 800-1800 RPM with a max 31.5 dBa level to move 58.47 CFM at an air pressure of 1.35mmH20. The heatsink has a total of 86 fins for heat dissipation and its dimensions are 120 x 133 x 159 mm. Socket compatibility includes AMD AM4/AM5 and most modern Intel configurations such as LGA 115X, 1200, 1700, and 1851. Cryorig appears to have opted for a single color option for the Monster XX with an all-black coating on the heatsink, heat pipes, and copper block base. Pricing and availability have not yet been announced but if priced low enough and if it performs well in testing, it could be a good contender for those not wanting to use liquid cooling in their PCs.
