A new Intel Arc Battlemage announcement December 3 teaser video was posted over the weekend the same day as yet another leak also appeared. It’s been a somewhat fast-paced round of leaks and rumors since last week regarding Intel’s next series of graphics cards which seemed to culminate with word of an official announcement that will happen tomorrow. It is also expected that Intel will provide details for at least two models, the Arc B570 and B580, but there’s a chance the chip manufacturer might have more to reveal. Intel quietly posted the teaser video on its social media channel formally confirming tomorrow’s announcement.

AIB Arc B570 Leaked Specs
While specifications for the Arc B580 began appearing last week details for the Arc B570 were scarce, but that has now changed thanks to a leaked specification sheet for a custom AIB model. The card in question shows the Arc B570 featuring 10 GB of memory on a 160-bit bus clocked at 19 Gbps. This is somewhat of an unusual configuration but should prove more than sufficient for 1080p gaming with modern titles. A rumor that is seemingly now confirmed is that the B570 will indeed have two fewer Xe2 cores, at 18 vs 20 of the B580, and is said to be roughly 36% slower in terms of expected performance.
The spec sheet shows that this 2-slot card has 1x HDMI 2.1, and 3x DP 2.1 (rumored to support UHBR 13.5) ports for display connectivity. An interesting detail for this card shows it supporting PCIe 4.0 x 8 and while the newer PCIe 5.0 is certainly not needed it is worth noting. As far as power requirements go, this card has a single 8-pin connector and a 600W PSU is recommended. Otherwise, it supports most features a consumer would expect of a GPU in 2024 such as DirectX12 Ultimate, OpenGL 4.6, XeSS, Intel XMX support, ray tracing support, and hardware-accelerated AV1 encoding support. Pricing and availability for this custom model were not included in the leak but custom models are expected to begin launching on December 13 following the official Intel Arc Battlemage launch the day before.
