The RTX 3080 tier of NVIDIA’s GeForce NOW cloud gaming service is currently only available as part of a six-month membership that costs $99.99 ($16.67 a month), but users who would prefer not to be tied down for half a year on that plan will soon have another option.
That’s according to a marketing image shared by VideoCardz, which can confirm that NVIDIA is planning to add a one-month membership option for its RTX 3080 tier of GeForce NOW, positive news for users who want to make a test run to see whether its advertised features are worth it. The RTX 3080 Tier of GeForce NOW has promised a range of benefits over the Free and Priority tiers, which include up to 1440p/120 FPS game streaming courtesy of GeForce RTX 3080-powered rigs and extended session lengths of up to eight hours.
A $9.99 per month membership option is already available for the Priority tier of GeForce NOW, but that tier maxes out at 1080p/60 FPS. Its session length is also limited to six hours.

- Under its Priority GeForce Now tier, NVIDIA was forced to limit the framerate on select titles due to insufficient service optimizations.
- NVIDIA team worked closely with game developers and has since eliminated this problem, which at the time limited the framerate to as low as 45 FPS in some games.
- This problem does not affect the RTX 3080 tier which is based on a different cloud GPU hardware.
