Lucasfilm has shared the first official trailer for Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, a new installment of the action-adventure franchise that sees Harrison Ford back as the legendary hero archaeologist, one of his most iconic roles ever.
The celebrated actor turned 80 years old this year, but thanks to movie magic, fans of Ford can still pretend that he’s capable of demanding action scenes, as indicated in the new trailer, which includes a peek at some of Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny’s bigger and more expensive sequences, including a de-aged Indy:
“I wanted the chance to dive into this kind of full-on George-and-Steven old picture and give the audience an adrenaline blast,” director James Mangold told Empire in a recent interview, teasing a “setpiece that dials the clock back to 1944, set in a castle swarming with Nazis.”
Starring alongside Ford are Phoebe Waller-Bridge (“Fleabag”), Antonio Banderas (“Pain and Glory”), John Rhys-Davies (“Raiders of the Lost Ark”), Shaunette Renee Wilson (“Black Panther”), Thomas Kretschmann (“Das Boot”), Toby Jones (“Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom”), Boyd Holbrook (“Logan”), Oliver Richters (“Black Widow”), Ethann Isidore (“Mortel”), and Mads Mikkelsen, who gamers might recognize for his part in Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding game.
Steven Spielberg and George Lucas, who were largely responsible for the original films, including Raiders of the Lost Ark, are serving as executive producers for Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, while John Williams, who has scored every Indiana Jones movie, has returned once again to provide music for the new adventure.
Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny is slated for release in theaters on June 30, 2023.

As for the feeling of the trailer it goes like this: nothing...nothing...nostalgiabait...nostalgiabait...nothing....deconstructing....
Meh it's not horrific.
What, you people are crazy there is no new Indy movie. I heard some people talk about some fridge nuke and a skull a few years back but they were clearly nuts then too.
