9th Gen Intel “Core” VPRO
Intel’s first announcement was the launch of Intel’s 9th Generation Intel Core VPRO Mobile and Desktop Processors. There will be fourteen new high-performance desktop and mobile SKUs designed for business including a core i9 for VPRO. VPRO is a purpose-built platform with great performance designed for professionals and enterprises.

Intel Xeon E Processors
The next announcement was that there would be fourteen new Xeon E processors for entry desktop and mobile workstations launching immediately. These CPUs allow faster render, raytracing and design performance in mobile. Also, for the first time ever in this lineup Intel is going to an 8 core / 16 thread and 5GHz of single-core turbo frequency spec. There will also be support for Wifi 6 and support for Optane memory natively. The Intel Xeon E processor lineup is here.
X-Series
Intel’s next announcement was that coming this fall Intel will announce the specifications on its next series of X-Series processors. This is the i5 X-Series, i7 X-Series, i9 Extreme, i9 X-Series.
