The PlayStation 5 console may be getting a radical makeover, but its controller could look and feel a lot like its predecessor. A Sony Interactive Entertainment patent published today has revealed what appears to be the DualShock 5, though it only flaunts minor changes: “larger triggers, slightly smaller sticks, a USB port, and no light bar.” Wired’s editors (who were among the first to see the prototype hardware) did suggest it’d be “an awful lot like the PS4‘s DualShock 4.”

The PS5 controller’s larger-capacity battery and haptics motors make it a bit heavier than the DualShock 4, it’s claimed. However, product manager Toshi Aoki said the final version will come in a bit lighter than the current Xbox controller “with batteries in it.”
