1440p Overclocked RTX 3060 Ti FE Performance
On this page, we will perform 1440p performance comparisons. At 1440p results should be more GPU dependent now. The “OVERCLOCKED GeForce RTX 3060 Ti FE” video card is overclocked at 2052MHz GPU and 15.5GHz memory. All other cards are at default configuration. We are using in-game benchmarks where possible, DX12, and Vulkan. Ray Tracing and DLSS are tested on a separate page.
Watch Dogs Legion
In Watch Dogs Legion we have the game at the “Ultra” preset with HD Textures installed. Overclocking the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti FE improves performance by 5% solidifying smoothness above 60FPS in this game at 1440p. Compared to the GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER FE that is 8% faster.
Horizon Zero Dawn
In Horizon Zero Dawn at 1440p overclocking the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti FE improves performance by 5%. This puts the performance of the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti FE 2% above the GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER FE. It also allows near 100FPS in this game at 1440p.
Red Dead Redemption 2
Red Dead Redemption 2 is definitely a game that benefits from more performance at 1440p. Overclocking the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti FE improves performance by 4% and brings it closer to the 60FPS mark. Compared to the GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER FE it is 4% faster.
Ghost Recon Breakpoint
In Ghost Recon Breakpoint overclocking the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti FE improves performance by 5%. Compared to the GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER FE that is 14% faster. It brings performance close to 100FPS.

In Control overclocking the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti FE improves performance by 5%. Compared to the GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER FE that is 8% faster.
Wolfenstein Youngblood
In Wolfenstein Youngblood overclocking the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti FE improves performance by 9%. Compared to the GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER FE that is 12% faster.
Metro Exodus
In Metro Exodus at Extreme Quality in 1440p we definitely benefit from higher performance. Overclocking the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti FE improved performance by 5%. However, it wasn’t enough to reach 60FPS in this game at 1440p. The overclock helps bring the RTX 3060 Ti FE over the RTX 2080 SUPER.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider
In Shadow of the Tomb Raider overclocking the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti FE improved performance by 10% which is a pretty big performance increase. Compared to the GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER FE that is 13% faster.
