It appears that Sony is slowly but surely ramping down production for its last-gen console. As shared by Kyoto resident and gamer Cheesemeister (via Eurogamer), retailers in Japan have begun notifying customers that select PlayStation 4 consoles will no longer be manufactured. These include the PS4 500 GB Glacier White, PS4 1 TB Jet Black, PS4 1 TB Glacier White, PS4 2 TB Jet Black, and PS4 Pro 1 TB Glacier White SKUs.

The news follows on the heels of rumors suggesting that the standard PS4 Pro 1 TB console has already been discontinued. A message posted on PlayStation Direct revealed that Sony had no plans to restock the item in the future, but being that the warning has since been removed, it’s possible that the standard, Jet Black 1 TB PS4 Pro may still be in play.

“Heighten your experiences,” the console’s official description reads. “Let the super-charged PS4 Pro lead the way. PS4 Pro is designed to take your favorite PS4 games and add to them with more power for graphics, performance, or features for your 4K, HDR TV, or 1080p HD TV.”
