Microsoft has shared a tweet confirming that Remedy Entertainment’s supernatural third-person action game, Control, is coming to Xbox Game Pass for PC on Thursday, January 21. Control is already available as part of the game subscription service’s console tier, but this is great news for PC subscribers who have more powerful hardware and have been waiting to play the ray-traced game at its maximum fidelity.

“From developer Remedy Entertainment, this supernatural 3rd person action-adventure will challenge you to master the combination of supernatural abilities, modifiable loadouts, and reactive environments while fighting through a deep and unpredictable world,” a game description reads.

Control is Jesse Faden’s story and her personal search for answers as she grows into the role of the Director. The world of Control has its own story, as do the allies Jesse meets along the way. Jesse works with other Bureau agents and discovers strange experiments and secrets.”

Those of you who are interested in playing Control Ultimate Edition but do not have access to an Xbox Game Pass for PC subscription may want to check out Green Man Gaming, which has the game on sale again for only $16.40. Remedy also recently revealed that the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions of Control would be launching on February 2 (digital) and March 2 (retail).
