Intel’s boxes for 11th Gen Core i9 “Rocket Lake-S” processors have made their way onto the web. The images were shared by VideoCardz, which confirm that the packaging will embrace the company’s new brand identity with modernized Intel, Core, and i9 logos. They also confirm that Intel will be sticking to a simplistic blue color scheme that hearkens back to the design used for the previous Comet Lake-S series.

“The 11th Gen Intel Core S-series desktop processor will introduce a new desktop architecture, called Cypress Cove, designed to transform hardware and software efficiency and increase performance,” Intel explained. “This will enable double-digit percentage IPC performance improvement (gen over gen) and deliver enhanced Intel UHD graphics featuring the Intel Xe Graphics architecture.”

Intel’s 11th Gen Core “Rocket Lake-S” processors will reportedly be released on March 15. In addition to the aforementioned increases in IPC performance and integration of an Xe-based iGPU, the new CPUs will boast up to 20 CPU PCIe 4.0 lanes and new overclocking features.
