All four Indiana Jones films will be available to own in 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray as part of a new collectible box set slated for launch this summer. Paramount Home Video revealed the news in a press release shared yesterday, which noted that each film underwent an extensive remastering process that was overseen and approved by director Steven Spielberg. Raiders of the Lost Ark, Temple of Doom, Last Crusade, and Kingdom of the Crystal Skull have also received new Dolby Atmos sound mixes.

“Now, for the first time ever, all four films are available together in 4K Ultra HD with Dolby Vision and HDR-10 for ultra-vivid picture quality and state-of-the-art Dolby Atmos audio,” Paramount wrote. “Each film has been meticulously remastered from 4K scans of the original negatives with extensive visual effects work done to ensure the most pristine and highest quality image. All picture work was approved by director Steven Spielberg.”

“In addition, all four films were remixed at Skywalker Sound under the supervision of legendary sound designer Ben Burtt to create the Dolby Atmos soundtracks. All original sound elements were used to achieve the fully immersive Dolby Atmos mixes while staying true to each film’s original creative intent.”

The Indiana Jones 4-Movie Collection will be available for purchase beginning on June 8, 2021. In addition to the collectible packaging, franchise fans can enjoy a special booklet in the box that features behind-the-scenes images from all four films. The collection also includes seven hours of previously released bonus content, as well as digital copies.

  1. Can they offer just the real trilogy so I don’t have to keep a copy of Kingdom of the Crystal Skull in my house? :ROFLMAO:
  2. And they are working on #5 so won’t be a complete set.

Crystal Skull wasn’t terrible… it just wasn’t very good. And Shia was probably not the best choice. Yeah I don’t ever need to see that one again either.

  3. I re-watched all 3 movies a couple years ago. Still hold up very well. I enjoy all of them. Then I watched Crystal Skull for the first time. Yyyeeeaaahhh just gonna pretend I didn’t see it, and that there are only 3 movies in the series.

All these movies are available via blu-ray so makes sense we would see 4K blu-ray releases at some point.

And they are working on #5

    Say what now?!?!?!!
