The next installment of EA and DICE’s popular military FPS franchise, Battlefield, will definitely be released in time for the holiday season. Oskar Gabrielson, DICE’s general manager, made the promise in a new article published on the official Battlefield site today, which noted that the game was being worked on by multiple studios (i.e., DICE, Criterion, DICE Los Angeles, EA Gothenburg) and would represent the most epic, jaw-dropping installment in the series yet. DICE has also partnered with Industrial Toys for a mobile Battlefield game that will be released in 2022.

It has everything we love about Battlefield – and takes all of it to the next level. Epic scale. All-out military warfare. Crazy, unexpected moments. Game-changing destruction. Massive battles, packed with more players and mayhem than ever before. All brought to life with the power of next-gen consoles and PCs.
