Outriders Developer People Can Fly Acquires Phosphor Studios

People Can Fly, the studio behind the recent cooperative action role-playing third-person hit Outriders, has announced that it has acquired Phosphor Studios. Phosphor Studios is a mid-sized development team responsible for titles such as VR survival shooter The Brookhaven Experiment, first-person action-adventure title Heroes Reborn: Gemini, and multiplayer survival game Nether. Phosphor’s development team is being turned into a new subsidiary called People Can Fly Chicago, LLC.

Established in 2002, People Can Fly, is one of the best AAA game development studios in Poland. PCF operates in Warsaw, Rzeszów, Łódź, New York, Newcastle and Montreal. PCF made its mark on the shooter genre and is known for titles such as Painkiller, Bulletstorm and the recently launched RPG shooter, Outriders.
