CD PROJEKT RED Isn’t Sure When Cyberpunk 2077 Will Be Back on the PlayStation Store

Due to a range of technical issues, Sony opted to remove the PlayStation 4 port of CD PROJEKT RED’s controversial sci-fi RPG, Cyberpunk 2077, from its PlayStation Store in December. Comments made by president and joint CEO Adam Kiciński today suggest that CD PROJEKT RED doesn’t have any real idea as to when Sony will be reintroducing the title back into its store, as the decision lies entirely in the Japanese gaming giant’s hands. Negotiations with Sony are still ongoing despite patches that have improved the PS4 version of Cyberpunk 2077 since its release.

“Unfortunately, I have no new information in this regard,” he said through a translator. “We are still in discussions and with every patch the game gets better and there is a visible progress, but as we said the decision is an exclusive decision of Sony, so we are waiting for the information about the fact that they took the decision to bring back this game. Until then I am not able to tell you anything more.”
