NVIDIA support previously hinted that green team would be releasing a playable version of its beautiful, ray-traced demo that it originally premiered at GTC 2020, Marbles RTX. That demo is now available to try via NVIDIA’s “open platform built for virtual collaboration and real-time physically accurate simulation,” Omniverse. NVIDIA’s Marbles RTX playable sample allows players to control a marble around an intricate workshop scene brought to life with real-time physics, dynamic lighting, and physically based materials. Omniverse’s open beta can be downloaded here.

The technology demo showcases NVIDIA Omniverse’s powerful suite of graphics, AI and simulation technologies. GeForce RTX gaming and NVIDIA RTX enthusiasts can download Marbles RTX and experience Omniverse’s advanced capabilities in real-time ray- and path-traced rendering, Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS) and complex physics simulation.
