ZOTAC’s new ZBOX MAGNUS ONE is one of the six recipients for Computex’s d&i Special Award this year. This category has an emphasis on investing in innovations and research. The sleek, 8.33-liter mini PC houses a 10th Gen Intel Core processor and a ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 30 Series graphics card. Other features include a 500-watt, 80 Plus Platinum PSU and PCIe 4.0 support. It can support up to four displays via its HDMI 2.1 and DP 1.4 ports. B&H Photo has listed the MAGNUS ONE for $1,999.99.

“MAGNUS ONE is one of the best Mini PCs on the market with its easily upgradable design, superb cooling system and enthusiast-level hardware,” says Jacky Huang, Product Director of ZOTAC Technology. “The tool-less designed case gives users quick access to key components. And with the support to install a desktop ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 30 series graphics card inside, you can leave MAGNUS ONE to do all the heavy lifting in gaming, creation, and professional workflows.”

As a child of the 70’s I was part of the many who became enthralled by the video arcade invasion of the 1980’s. Saving money from various odd jobs I purchased my first computer from a friend of my dad, a used Atari 400, around 1982. Eventually it would end up being a lifelong passion of upgrading and modifying equipment that, of course, led into a career in IT support.
