Following the success of Horizon Zero Dawn and Days Gone’s PC ports, Sony will be bringing additional PlayStation exclusives to the PC platform in the future. Head of PlayStation Studios Hermen Hulst reiterated this commitment during a recent Q&A, noting that Sony would “continue to look at the right times to launch each game.” Hulst warned that PlayStation would “remain the best place to play […] PlayStation Studios titles at launch,” however, indicating that PC gamers will need to pick up a console if they wish to enjoy Sony’s titles on day one without an extensive wait.

[…] I hope that a new set of fans can and will enjoy [Days Gone on PC]. And that’s the goal — we want to reach new gamers who haven’t yet experienced the great stories, characters, and worlds that we’ve built. Releasing games on PC will not come ever at the expense of building an exciting lineup of great console games.
