EA and DICE have released the first gameplay trailer for their latest installment of Battlefield, Battlefield 2042. Launching on October 22, 2021 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5, and PC (Origin, Steam, Epic Games Store), Battlefield 2042 marks a return to the iconic all-out warfare of the franchise with new features such as dynamically changing battlegrounds and support for up to 128 players. Unlike previous installments, Battlefield 2042 won’t feature a single-player campaign mode and focus on multiplayer only.

Unleash your combat creativity through a full roster of cutting-edge weapons, vehicles, jets, helis, and all-new equipment inspired by the near-future of 2042. Choose your role on the battlefield and form hand-tailored squads through the new Specialist system. Based on Battlefield’s four Classes, Specialists have one unique gadget and trait – but the rest of the loadout is fully customizable.
