Just two days after announcing its acquisition of Returnal studio Housemarque, Sony has confirmed that it has purchased another developer: Nixxes Software. The news was shared in a tweet from head of PlayStation Studios Hermen Hulst today, who confirmed that the PC port specialist has officially joined its growing family of PlayStation Studios. Nixxes’ logo should be familiar to many PC gamers, as the developer has been responsible for porting a number of blockbuster titles such as Deus Ex: Human Revolution and Rise of the Tomb Raider. Sony’s acquisition of Nixxes seems to suggest that it is firmly committed to bringing more of its first-party PlayStation titles to the PC.
