Silent hardware expert be quiet! has introduced a successor to its popular Shadow Rock Slim CPU cooler called the Shadow Rock Slim 2. The Shadow Rock Slim 2 is largely similar to its predecessor but features two notable improvements, a new optimized mounting kit for easier installation in alignment with the airflow and the addition of Heat pipe Direct Touch (HDT) technology for its four high-performance 6 mm heat pipes. The cooling capacity of the Shadow Rock Slim 2 is 160 W just like the older model, and the silence-optimized 135 mm fan that the Shadow Rock Slim 2 leverages offers the same level of 23.7 dB(A) noise at 100 percent operation as well.
