In what’s slowly becoming a tradition of sorts, Sony’s next batch of free games for PlayStation Plus has leaked ahead of their official announcement. October’s free titles are Hell Let Loose (PS5), a tactical FPS set during WWII by Black Matter, PGA Tour 2K21 (PS4), a golf title, and the tenth installment of NetherRealm Studios’ hit fighting series, Mortal Kombat X (PS4).

The list comes courtesy of French gaming site Dealabs, which accurately leaked all of the free PlayStation Plus titles for September. (This month’s free games are Overcooked! All You Can Eat, Predator Hunting Grounds, and Hitman 2.)

From Sony:

Expand your game collection with new PS4 games each month, as well as regularly added PS5 titles. All PlayStation Plus monthly games are playable on PS5 and yours to keep as long as you’re a member.

Build your collection with blockbuster hits, indie gems and multiplayer party games to play online or at home with family and friends.

According to Dealabs, PlayStation Plus’ next batch of free titles will go live on October 5 and be available for subscribers to download until November 2, 2021.

  1. Hell let loose might be interesting. I already have Mortal Kombat X, so it must have already been in the PS+ cycle already. I hate using gamepads for fighters like that, I can never pull the combos off. OTOH I’m too cheap to buy a fight stick. I had one back in the 360 days and even a cheap one is worlds better than a gamepad.
