EA and DICE have announced that Battlefield 2042’s Open Beta will begin next week. The beta will officially start on October 8 and run until October 9, but Battlefield fans who pre-ordered the game or are current EA Play members can access the Open Beta two days earlier on October 6. Battlefield 2042’s Open Beta will include two modes: Conquest, based on the series’ iconic sandbox mode, and Orbital, a “race against time and hostile conditions as you fight around the site of an imminent rocket launch.” Pre-load starts October 5.

Join the fight on Orbital with a diverse selection of Specialists, cutting-edge weaponry, and vehicles to choose from. Open Beta between October 6-9, 2021. Early access is available on October 6-7, 2021 for all players who pre-order the game or are current EA Play members.
