Microsoft has shared a video detailing some of the improvements that will be coming to the Xbox app for Windows PCs. They include highly requested features such as the ability to install a game to any folder with unrestricted access, which should be a boon for modders, as well as improved download speeds. Xbox App users will also find new Auto HDR options and a Cloud Gaming tab.

A lot of great new features are coming to the Xbox app for Windows PCs that are now available to test for Xbox Insiders. Join Megan Spurr, Community Lead for Xbox Game Pass, and Jason Beaumont, Partner Director of Experiences with Xbox, as they discuss some of the updates available to test in the Xbox app and what you can expect in the future.

“With great PC games like Back 4 Blood, Age of Empires IV, Forza Horizon 5, and Halo Infinite on day one with Game Pass, we wanted to provide players with more options to customize their experience in the Xbox app,” Beaumont told The Verge in a statement. “We’ll continue to share updates as we launch additional features.”
