Anno 1404 History Edition Is Free on Ubisoft Connect

Ubisoft is continuing its 35th birthday celebrations with enticing giveaways and rewards.

The latest freebie is Anno 1404 History Edition, a remastered version of the city-building classic from 2009 that’s been updated with support for higher resolutions and new options such as a borderless window mode. Anno fans have until December 14 to grab a free copy of the title for Ubisoft Connect.

Fans of strategy games who are seeking a more recent take on the franchise can look into Anno 1800, the series’ seventh and latest installment. Developed by Blue Byte and released by Ubisoft in April 2019, Anno 1800 takes place during the Industrial Revolution and is currently on sale at the Ubisoft Store for $24.
